Android 5.0, what could it bring?

Android users are stuck with version 4.x for quite some time now, and all have been yearning for the next major bump in the mobile operating system and on what features that could add on the table.
On the last two revamps, Google brought Android a radical user interface change as well as performance improvements which finally made the OS run buttery smooth.

Google Now were also included, which added a voice-powered assistant and smart cards that displays up-to-date and relevant information as well.
This year, we are looking at what could possibly be named as Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, if the rumours turn out to be true. The search giant will be holding a developer event on May 15-17, called Google I/O, and the world is expecting them to unveil the next iteration of Android. So, what could they have up in their sleeves?
Part 1:
A better gaming experience
Last April 18, Android news site Android Police has uncovered files, on Google Play Services that was shipped on the MyGlass app designed for use with Google Glass, that points to a lot of new gaming features that Google could announce on May.
Basically, Google will be finally having something ala Game Center. FPS, racing, and other multiplayer games can now finally have real time multiplayer over the internet. Turn-based games like Scrabble, and other board-games (hey, Draw Something, anyone?) will also get better as they can now use a single service as opposed to home-made solutions by the developers themselves.
Other standard features like game achievements, invitations, and leaderboards are part of the so called Google Games too. But there are two more features that the Game Center don’t have, at least, not that I know of — in-game chatting and lobbies. The former obviously speaks for itself. Lobbies, on the other hand, allows players to pick a room, plan the game, pick team members, and set the rules.
While Google Games seem to be more of a catch-up features, this is just good for the Android users and developers alike. It brings a much more integrated gaming hub. The good news is, Android Police says the feature is now almost finished and could possibly see the light on Google I/O.
